Today is Veteran's Day, as we've discussed, and Lulu is offering a special coupon -- if you haven't bought CG yet and want to, today's a good day as you get 20% off with the coupon code "VETSDAY305".
When Nameless was published I asked folks to send me photos of the book from their parts of the world, and ended up with quite a satisfying Brag Gallery. Now that CG is starting to arrive, I'd love to do the same thing. So! If you have a copy of Charitable Getting or are expecting one soon, take a photo and send it off to me! I'd love to see where CG is headed.
Also, someone at some point emailed me about shipping options because Lulu is still quite expensive in some areas, postage-wise. I've lost the email (argh) but I know that for the UK it's now actually just as cheap to buy individually as it is to ship bulk to one person and then have that person mail everything out. I'm not sure if this is the case in Canada, however, or in some other parts of the world. SO! If you know you're going to be ordering some and are afeared of the postage, consider doing a bulk order! You can drop a comment here (if you're not reading this on LJ, I'd suggest going there to comment) and maybe some fellow Cafe members will go in on it with you. I'm thoroughly unable to help with this, other than advertising its existence, but many people are more organised than I. And who knows, you might make new friends! :D

FOR US SHOPPERS
if you're only buying one copy of CG, it goes like this:
VETSDAY (15*.8)+3.99 standard shipping = 15.99
or HERO305 15+free shipping= 15.00 so that's cheaper.
but the more copies you buy, the better the "20% off" sounds- for 2 copies it's $30 flat(free shipping) versus 29.94(% off), and obviously the more, the merrier. So you could find someone else who wants a copy, and save some dough. On the other hand, if you want it fast, the free shipping is a really good deal.
