not sure why "Land of Invented Languages" as a title made me think of this (my mind makes odd leaps sometimes) but did you ever come across this little book: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16200.Ella_Minnow_Pea? If not, its certainly an interesting read at least on the how do you make THAT work as a writer level. :)
