Golly, I can't imagine ever having an exchange like that with my mother. I was excited that she watched Sherlock because it was about the only show I fan that she has ever watched—but she didn't like it much and may or may not watch s2 when it finally rolls around on PBS.
I am just a little jealous. (Then again, it might be really weird to have conversations with my mom about Sherlock. I find myself unable to imagine her parts at all, and then I run out of my side pretty quickly.)
