Most disturbing cave painting ever, or most disturbing cave painting EVER?

I say this as someone who understands why masks, particularly eyeless ones, terrify people, and also as someone with a deep love of indigenous cave art in general. And at first I thought this painting was really engaging and interesting and dynamic. I kept it open because I thought it might be a good one to use in the little side-trip into cave art I just took in Jack&Ellis.

But the more I look at it, the more it appears to be staring back at me.

And some sadist somewhere thought that this would look nice framed and hanging in the living room.
CHEESE HAS ARRIVED. *shows off the cheese he got for Christmas* There is truffled cheese and A LOT OF BRIE and chaourcet AND FOIE GRAS, because it's legal in Chicago again!

CHEESE! AND ORGANS!

I'd do the cheese dance, but it's top secret. The organ dance can't be performed without rehearsal.

It's been quiet today so I've spent the time alternating between working on Jack&Ellis and doing some typesetting and graphic design. I've been looking into self-publishing, I think I mentioned, and a few people sent me some good links. Though I think the guy at CNet who said typesetting a book oneself is a pain was talking out his ass, because I'm having a lot of fun doing it.

And I finally came up with a better title for the Alum's Guide To University: "Other People Can Smell You". Because that is really the most important point in the whole book.

(I should note that while I'm planning to publish the Alum's Guide and at least one if not two novels, they will also be available free on LJ and in PDF format. There's no outlay on my end, so there's no reason not to host free digital and sell hardcopy.)

I am going to catch a cab home, eat some cheese, and text R to remind him that I get home at 5:15, not 4:15, and if he calls me at 4:15 I will not be able to answer the phone.
