I just logged onto the new, improved VPN system my work has installed, and the computer told me IT IS AN OFFENSE TO CONTINUE WITHOUT PROPER AUTHORIZATION.

All I could think was "How like life."

I'm working from home, thank god, because it's -15F by my thermometer outside. I have a steadfast belief that if it's below zero Fahrenheit, schools should all close, and if schools all close, nonessential workers should get the option of either a day off or working from home. Anyone who has to go to work in this weather should get some kind of "Freezing my nuts off" bonus, whether they have nuts or not, so that they can afford to buy the kind of clothing people use when climbing Everest. And some hot roasted nuts, too.

If I were a musician, I would write a Workin' In My Pyjamas song.

I almost forgot to mention, after being horribly mistreated by the Post Office I have finally tested and confirmed the efficacy of my new post office box. So if you want to send me a postcard or just like writing things down in address books, here ya go:
