Texas, you goddamn snobs.
I have applied to jobs all over this damn country and the only state where I am consistently rejected -- application ignored or denied -- is Texas.
I don't even want to live in Texas! I'm only applying because if they paid me enough I would put up with the horrifying heat and ugly cars in order to be less than a day's travel from my parents.
And yet! TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY rejected me! Seton Medical Center ignored me! These places are in San Marcos, it's not like they have a lot to feel superior about.
