Oh god. How do you do this to me?

"I'll give your regards to Ianto, too."

Levy laughed delightedly. "God! Please do. Kiss him for me. What a spitfire he was."

"Goodbye, Lo."

"G'bye, Doctor. Catch you around."

Yep. I have tears. I am a wimp and I admit it. *sniff*

On reccomendation from a fan of yours I have had the delight of reading all your Torchwood fics during the holidays.

Loved everyone of them. Love your Jack, Ianto, Nicholas, them all. Please keep writing. I love your style.

Fantastic. Lo, Levy, Jack, the Doctor, the shout out to Jenny and Ianto. all in a little riddle fic with big implications. Brilliant.

Wonderful!

Tiny spelling thing: you have 'venemously' which should be 'venomously' (about half way through).

*Big sigh*

All kinds of awesome, as usual!

Wow! Better than the League of Extrodinary Gentlemen any day! And it's nice to know that the Doctor will get to be ginger.

"Lo Boeshane. Unsung hero of the Flyer war, Quantico valedictorian, Time Agency scoundrel -- Doctor's companion -- Torchwood's lapdog, Torchwood's bulldog, Torchwood's top dog, Managing director of the Library, King of Gethane System, executed as a traitor in the Planetary Civil War, Colonist of Deshane, Professor of Earth History at Kethsai University, Admiral of the Fleet."
Have I mentioned recently how much I adore your writing? Loved every little bit of this!

Lovely !

I was wondering if Admiral Levy was going to fully go on pygmalion mode with Lo when I saw the heartbreaker comment but Jack!Levy is a more interesting take on Jack past.

And do I see a verse with Ianto as a doctor companion ?

That was really lovely. Mature Jack is still cheeky and I like that. I think the way you write him fits the character very well.

Oh wow, that's perfect. How do you do that? Really, really enjoyable and sad and fitting, and once your older!Jack absolutely wins. :D

[identity profile] myklavelle.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 10:43 am (UTC)(link)
OMG IDDLE!JACK! I mean, Lo Boeshane. Hee-hee.

Loved this. Especially loved how Jack(Lo) called (ginger!!!)Doctor 'kid'. Because, of course, he would be at least 5,000 years old by then. Oooh, and Jenny! I honestly don't get what people have against her. I mean, yeah, she may or may not be a Mary Sue, but she was also kickass and stood up to the Doctor when he said she was wrong, which Jack didn't do, and that makes me happy. End rant.

This is delightful! You really caught me with the Levy reveal.

[identity profile] metallumai.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 12:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh nicely turned, beautiful. From the very beginning to Plato, nicely nicely done!!

P.S: Did you like the song?

[identity profile] ruisseau.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Fantastic!

[identity profile] clodia-risa.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I was so comfortable in the trope of the origin story of Jack, that seeing Jack as the Admiral really took me by surprise. An excellent story, and an interesting idea for an alien.

[identity profile] demotu.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 03:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh sam, you always make me grin ridiculously while reading. Love Lo, and Levy, and the ginger Doctor. And is Ianto a companion, then, with Jenny? Love the fast-aging Flyers and the way to win the war, very ingenious.

[identity profile] jkivela.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 03:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Loved it!

On these fics I always feel sad that Jack had to leave Ianto behind at some point.

[identity profile] merucha.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 04:30 pm (UTC)(link)
YOu do strange things to my head -- in a good way...

[identity profile] kinkerbelle13.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 05:16 pm (UTC)(link)
That was incredibly delightful. Jack calling the Doctor 'kid' was possibly my favorite bit. Not to mention how fondly he remembers Ianto. *sigh* Well done, as always.

[identity profile] rm.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I think this is the best thing you've ever done.

I have nothing else cogent to say.

[identity profile] kalichan.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Is Ianto Jenny's companion? BECAUSE I LOVE JENNY. And it would be awesome to see that, yes, yes it would.

I love the flip-flopping relationships in this, Levi!Jack and Lo!Jack being the most obvious, but also the relationships between Jack and the Doctor, Jack and Torchwood, and so on.

Also, managing director of the Library?? Why am I not surprised that Jack managed that (and managed to completely screw it up?) *laughs*

It's like Ender meets Sam Vimes meets Miles Vorkosigan. And then is fucked sideways by Jack Harkness. *loves*

[identity profile] beachlass.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Very vivid and interesting!

[identity profile] adjovi.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
wow...i totally had no idea what was happening until it was revealed and then had to go back through and re-read immediately--oi, jack creating his own backstory--brilliant!

very nice. I like how Jack helps his younger self, but more that it's just putting him on the right path, and not overtly guiding him. That the raw material is there for him to do what needs to be done. I like the cameo by the Doctor at the end - finally ginger!

[identity profile] cjk1701.livejournal.com 2009-01-07 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
*grins* So Jack's his very own Captain Nemo, then? Or was the name unintentional?

Love it! And the fashion victim Doctor, too.
