Oh my god this DAY.

Between feeding three departments, herding one into cabs, and having to go on a tour of a building I genuinely could not care less about which resulted in my getting home an hour late, I am beat.

I did get to post The Dead Isle, Chapter Fourteen, if a little later than I liked. Fortunately it's short.

I also did have a duck sandwich for lunch today. Om nom nom duck.

I feel your pain on the OMG THIS DAY. I got three hours of sleep (maybe) and then drove ten hours to a different state so I could be here for a job interview tomorrow morning. On the plus side, though, I'm in Florida! (I think that's a good thing. It's not high summer yet. The lizards are cute though.)

Dude, thanks for sending Marilyn my way. It's almost like you wished so hard you made it happen. Perhaps all of Chicago wished her away. =P

LOL. Well, we knew she was temporary. I'm just sorry my loathing couldn't get rid of her faster.

Ha! I'll have to start working on my GO AWAY vibe, asap. Perhaps I can get rid of her in short order like you did.

I have a feeling she's going to be mad popular over here, though. =/

She also belongs to a sculpture foundation based out of CA, so she's probably there for good. They were just loaning her to us.

You know, I think she really belongs in Palm Springs ... at least as a second option to Hollywood; I don't know where they'd fit her in Hollywood though. May she suffer rapid bleaching in the merciless sun and soon be unfit for display.

I get that vibe too, that she really does have a good reason for a place here. Doesn't stop me from not wanting her here!

There has been TOO MUCH omg-this-day going around today, CLEARLY. I have a case of it too - I just finished a research paper at the very. last. minute. O_O (Bad planning, me.) And now I cannot stop braining and go to sleeeeeeep, I'm all hyper.

Which would be less of a problem if I could brain clearly. I misread "duck sandwich"... yes, in the obvious way... and for some reason felt it necessary to comment and tell you / the Café. ;P

(Am I the only one? *looks around hopefully* Surely it's easy to misread "om nom nom duck"... *rolls eyes at self*)
