De-lurking for a second here...

I reread this story last weekend with a couple of friends - somehow, gangster!Lupin and this Harry keep dragging me back to your lj - and was nominated to share the mental image that popped up whilst doing so.

... a small, struggling rat... the Thames on a moonless night... and cement shoes...
