I spent the day reading Discworld fanfiction, because, well, I'm sure you've heard the bad news regarding Terry Pratchett's alzheimer's diagnosis. Just wanted to say that you have some of the most well-written DW fanfic I've seen yet on the internet, and that this story in particular captured PTerry's writing style so perfectly. Great work.

I had heard that news too, and I was deeply sorry to hear it. Still, they've caught it early and there's medication for these things; he seems pretty optimistic, so I think we should be too :) Glad you enjoyed the fic!

It's such a fabulous story, I can't imagine Vetinari marrying any other way-AKA without a magnificent Xanatos Gambit and a slightly pragmatic eyebrow raising at the gods.

But I do have a nitpick:

No, he wasn't. He was LOATH. To loathe is to hate; loath is unwilling. (I only nitpick because I care.)
