(no subject)

I'm slowly catching up on House MD, and currently watching the one from last season where he diagnoses the soap star.

They're...not really even trying to pretend he's straight anymore, huh?

Yeah, late season 4 was awesome that way.

... there was a time they were pretending he wasn't bi? *confused*

[identity profile] skelody.livejournal.com 2008-12-07 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it's bi or nothing then. Have you seen his fantasies about Cuddy? And how he gets all tongue-tied over the, er, attractive CIA woman?

*snicker* This season is pushing the House/Cuddy/Wilson OT3 pretty hard, too.

He's a practising wiccan. Beautiful religion....

Yeah. I bought S4 because I missed a lot of it, and holy cow.

I totally skipped S3, because Vogler was just too obnoxious for words and I don't seem to have missed anything by it. S4 was awesome, though. I can just see House/Cuddy/Wilson glimmering on the horizon.

I'm seasons and seasons behind, but every time someone posts about House, I feel I should catch up.

House isn't straight? What? *is confused*

I've only just started watching House...and in thoroughly random order since I'm at the mercy of cable tv.

I'm 1 episode away from being caught up and this season is full of the awesome. Particularly when it comes to subtextual (or not so sub:) innuendo and lovins.

[identity profile] clodia-risa.livejournal.com 2008-12-07 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
As said above, totally bi.

This season is not the best, but "Birthmarks" is the best episode of the entire show, bar perhaps "Three Stories". They could have taken "Birthmarks" and made it into a quality movie and it would've made millions.

[identity profile] annemjw.livejournal.com 2008-12-07 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Ha! Yeah, no. The whole Wilson/House fallout just really cements that.

[identity profile] blairprovence.livejournal.com 2008-12-07 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
I find I still enjoy the show, but do not obsessively rewatch the way I used to. And I'm not one of the people who think adding the Numbers/cutting time for the Cottages was inherently a huge mistake - but I'm not loving the new characters nearly as much, and Thirteen bugs me more than Cameron did. I wish House had kept Chase instead of Foreman, who keeps being outraged about the things House does, like he hasn't seen it already for FOUR STRAIGHT YEARS!

I will be interested to hear what you think about the season finale!

[identity profile] elucreh.livejournal.com 2008-12-07 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
I was just wishing for House three things! The last episode made me wanna talk about it and I don't have anyone with whom I can talk except the cafe.

(Although I actually have been enjoying this season, I have to say, I've been rewatching Season One as I clean the house and...damn, this show used to be so much better. I used to think Cameron was kickass, for god's sake!)

I think he's attracted to smarts in either gender.

[identity profile] hallgato.livejournal.com 2008-12-07 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)
If you think he's gay now, wait until you see the fourth episode of this season. They loooooooove each other.

[identity profile] elihice.livejournal.com 2008-12-07 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Haaaaa, wait until you finish the season. I've yet to see the new season, but at some point I actually had to go back and watch the scene again because I couldn't believe how transparent the subtext was being.

Recent episodes have been doing a lot of backpedalling from all that, unfortunately... the writers are trying to display his ~*HETERO MANLINESS*~ by shoving him into a relationship that lost all its chemistry and potential like two seasons ago.

Really, they've been horrible to the female characters recently, and the feminist in me has been screaming her head of for like four or five episodes now.
