I didn't get to post origami last night because I was busy sharing My Very Important Thoughts On Writing and also eating all the garlic bread in the greater Chicago area. So I do have that to share, but first I wanted to share some links I've been compiling on the art of origami and of papercraft in general.
A bunch of people have linked me to Oritsunagumono, which fills me with covetous envy; I want some clear sheets with bones printed on them. I also want to see the exhibit, but I can't figure out where it is. Just guessing, but I think probably Japan somewhere.

lusse_kun linked me to some slightly more traditional origami, by Sipho Mabona, including an interview with the artist near the bottom. I love the koi; I want that fold, too. emyrldlady, meanwhile, linked me to Simon Schubert's work, which involves images made from creases, shadows, and light.
And then there's me and my sad little crown.
Well, it's fun, anyway.
