We are looking for kitchen staff at my restaurant. It is basically minimum wage, thankless, hard work. Don't expect much from them, and you will still be disappointed. Still there? Dishwashers, food prep, cooks (no fancy degrees needed)wait staff. Ability to work most evenings and weekends. Mondays we are closed. We close from the sunday before christmas until mid march (after a year, you can get unemployment during that time). If you are on unemployment now, it will help your benefits last longer. If you are on welfare/food stamps, you could work under a certain number of hours and still receive those. There is a 401k. Some small benefits you can get after a year. They are not actively, but can be passively racist, homophobic and mysoginistic at turns. And I take great pleasure in slapping them down. There are a lot of small town red necks working there.
