Absolutely wonderful! Why don't they *tell* you this in high school?! I had exactly *one* oral report, in Speech class; most of the advice you recommend forgetting was right in there, along with such plums as, "Loosen up! They're all your friends!" and "Imagine your audience naked!" Ahahah, no. I'm saving it--but if you don't mind, could I please print it out for my brother? He's got a work-related thing coming up, and I think this will help a lot, even though he's much better at dealing with people than me.
