In fairness, if you left your contact info on some girls' sheets, you might still get some calls. It can be very scary to just give some guy your phone number.
I did a speed dating event a couple of years back and at the end of the night you told the organisers who you were interested in and if you both said yes they sent you each other's contact info. But that was For Science, so I guess they had to keep a closer track of who did what with whom.
