Definitely understandable, TED is mostly where I dump my overeager brain when I don't want to admit that I'm exhausted. 4 hrs on a dissertation and my brain checks out, but it feels like I got nearly nothing done so to TED I go (heigh-ho).
I can recommend the lady who talks about how food has shaped our cities (http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/carolyn_steel_how_food_shapes_our_cities.html) (London specifically) and the dude with the cheating elephant who talks about moral behaviors in animals (http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/frans_de_waal_do_animals_have_morals.html).
It's really a good thing the library computer doesn't have flash or I'd be watching that instead of writing..
