Watching Michael Eisner being interviewed on TV.

His eyebrows are terrifying. They're just little tufts over his nose. They're like something you would find on an ACTUAL DISNEY CHARACTER.

I'm expecting any minute he'll tear off his head and turn out to be some underpaid teenager in a character suit.
Midterm in T-minus three point five hours and counting.

I am fairly confident about it, as I woke up this morning and lay in bed considering the evidence for Augustus' interpretation of Imperium as the ability and duty to provide economic and military stability.

And then I realised Augustus and Vetinari had the precise same goals. And went about them in much the same way.

And then I decided I am too big a geek to live.

Before I woke up I dreamed I was jogging. That's all. Just jogging, around my old neighbourhood in San Francisco. WTF. Are my dreams so boring because my waking fantasy life is so vivid?
Sam's Usual Three Things About CSI.

1. Rural Hardware Store Clerk clearly has a thing for Grissolm. (If Chris Carter had written this episode, he would have slept with her for no apparent reason. Why yes, I am still bitter about '3'.)

2. Greg is always there for you, Catherine. Take him up on it. I'm beggin' you. "He knows stuff."

3. Rerun. Foul!

However, an addendum -- 3a if you will.

Sweeps are coming. Generally, reruns just previous to Sweeps means that there's information in these episodes which will be reflected upon during the high-tension, high-drama Sweeps eps. I'm guessing, putting three-within-three, that Catherine's payoff, the Catherine/Grissolm dynamic, and Grissolm's personal-life isolationism are going to feature highly in Sweeps.

See, I'm a fanboy when it comes to books, but my true dorkiness only shows when I'm talking TV.
In honour of me finally turning the heat on, since it dipped below fifty indoors this evening.

Remus Lupin turned off the heat in his flat.

He couldn't afford it, even on the savings from last year's Hogwarts job. Besides, he was a werewolf. Werewolves didn't get sick. Didn't get laid, either, although that was somewhat irrelevant. Point was, he didn't mind the cold, and as nobody else ever came to his flat, nobody else minded either.

He opened the door on a rainy and unusually chilly day in June, and was greeted with a blast of warm, heated air.

"Hallo, Moony," Sirius Black said. "Hope you don't mind. Place was a bit chilly."

Remus Lupin smiled.
