So I pondered and wondered and price-compared and dithered, but in the end practicality won out.

I stuck with my little 1.2 megapixel Olympus camera, which has served me well these many years, and instead spent the rather disturbingly generous Christmas cheque from Lucky's mum on a new bicycle. It's been two years since I've had a bicycle that wasn't falling apart at the seams, and a good five months since I've had one that was rideable at all, so I feel it's a little more practical than the camera, and cost a little less.

Pictures to follow tomorrow, when I pick it up (it's getting a tune-up and some puncture-proof tyres installed today).

My advisor wants Thesis Chapter in on Thursday, so tomorrow's going to be spent, uh, finishing writing it *shifty look* but I'm dogsitting this weekend which will mean leisure to cook -- and write.

Friday can't come soon enough, but I wish Thursday was a week away....
