Bwahahaha, we return triumphant from Whole Foods with OMG CHOCOLATE HONEYCOMB.

Chocolate Honeycomb is a mainly European -- I daresay mainly English -- treat sold usually in the Commonwealth areas as Violet Crumble. It consists of molasses with air forced through it to create a block of sweet, honeycombed hard candy, which is then dipped in chocolate. It's difficult to find stateside, but lo, we have located it, and it's a damn good thing that Whole Foods isn't withing cycling distance or I would soon have invested all my savings in chocolate honeycomb, strange cheeses, and loose-leaf teas. We also bought split peas and lentils and fresh-ground wheat flour and all things delicious. [livejournal.com profile] la_rainette, they had "chocolate dipped frogs" (actually frog-shaped cookies) which I have photographed for your pleasure and will post eventually. :D

Someday this coming week I am going to take a Writing Day and ditch the internet in order to write and edit LC, get those commissions done, and bust a move on CC. Probably Monday.
