Oh yes.
THAT'S RIGHT.
It's SAM'S THREE THINGS ABOUT CSI.
1. Was it obvious to anyone else when the 2-grand electricity bill came up that someone was growing an herb garden?
2. Speaking of which, Greg was looking a little too gleeful when they finally came across it. "Samples" my ass. Throw on some Tom Petty and git down, my brother!
3. While it's nice to see Nick coping with things, or not coping with them depending on your point of view, I think the kiddie voice over was a little bit much. As was Sage. But the concept -- perpetrators who remain so completely silent that the tension derives from knowing they won't tell -- was pretty excellent.
3a. While I realise that the modern murder mystery is the morality play of the twentieth century (thank you Dorothy Sayers via Peter Wimsey) I always get slightly irked when CSI is particularly blatant in its don't-do-drugs, don't-deviate, don't-fuck-for-for pleasure crusade. It's gotten better -- the sexual deviant and/or loose chick doesn't always bite it anymore -- but it's still a bit annoying.
