OMG I HAVE BEEN LINKED TO THE AWESOME.

HP7 spoilers behind the link. I actually kind of have issues with this, because -- well, one, stolen, and two, spoilers. Actually, in order of importance those should probably be reversed....

To be honest, the ethics of posting stolen documents online doesn't bother me, especially since I'm a regular reader of The Smoking Gnu Gun. Those aren't stolen, but I sense that they're not always acquired with permission, wink nudge. Anyway, I kind of feel sorry for whoever is going to get busted over this because they let the pages sneak out, but not too sorry, because OMG NEW HP WITH LUPIN IN THANK YOU.

Sorry. I'm a shallow person, I guess.

Anyway, on the spoiler front, I know there are some people who are like OMG NOES DETH TO SPOILERS but really, it's three pages from what can't be more than chapter two, considering the first one is marked 25, and we don't actually get anything of importance beyond the fact that the main characters we expected to show up...show up. And I get my Lupin fix, which is the important part.

So those are my thoughts on the matter. Also my thoughts are that the poor bastard who put all this up is going to get Scholastic up his ass so fast and far that he'll only know they're there when he swallows.

Commentary post-hack: Obviously an April Fool's joke. I don't know if the links are still accurate. Lots of fun though. Jesus I'm sad I don't have comments for this one anymore. I think it was the last April Fool's joke I pulled and eerily predicted the Carpetbook :D

I have a bone to pick with you all! And with the English language, which couldn't produce a proper-sounding second-person-plural, but don't distract me!

A fine lot of Marauders you are. When someone posts a link to a prank, you do not comment in that post to tip other people off! You join in and play along so that others are more thoroughly fooled! Have I taught you nothing? *weeps*

That having been said, I've failed a bit myself; my credibility is so thoroughly ruined by past April Fool's pranks that I'll probably have to retire next year. Commentary post-hack: I did. The prank on Hallowe'en was brilliant, but mainly because it was unexpected, and it's hardly a challenge to prank someone any old day of the week.

Do you suppose the Marauders ever got prank burnout? Perhaps not, but then they had the physical world to romp around in, and of course did not confine themselves to high holy days of mischief-making. :D

Highlights of the prank, however, include it getting mentioned not only in several different languages but on several different sites.
