Book Review: From A Buick 8

Final Verdict: Well, I wouldn't buy the hardback, but it was worth the four bucks it cost me to buy it secondhand and on first-reading it was quite the page-turner -- I recommend taking it out of your local library, I suppose. Unlike many of his other books, King's primary focus is on gross-out horror rather than creeping, afraid-of-the-dark horror, so if your squickfactor for gore is high, be prepared. I enjoyed it, but I'm planning on leaving it in the hostel lobby for some other lucky hosteller to find and enjoy. :)
In other news, while knowing nothing about The Thomas Crown Affair, I was still able to properly spot that they were in Boston within eight minutes of the film's start. :D It's something about the shape of the streets and the way the buildings front onto them, I think...
