Okay. Okay.

Portfolio has been updated including removal of anything with a professor's handwriting on it and an arrow reading "FIX THIS". Two additional copies of resume (one on plain, one on nice paper) have been printed and placed in business folio along with business cards and two pens (one green, plz don't use unless emergency). Agenda and notebook in front pocket of Laptop Case. Folio and Portfolio in Laptop part of Laptop Case, as it looks more professional than Messenger Bag. Interview suit clean, ironed, and awaiting decision re: shirt colour. Hair and teeth brushed.

*glances at clock*

*sighs*

*goes off to write LC for a few hours*
interviewer was alum of st. nowhere, my grad school. needless to say, it went well! 2nd interview soon. phew!

Commentary post-hack: No second interview was forthcoming. I'm definitely not still bitter about this or anything.
I am home. It was rainy. I have lost all my big words.

*flops on bed, naps*

The interview went well. As previously mentioned, he was a fellow alum, so he actually knew some of the people I worked with and understood the training I'd had. He's thrilled that I know the database they use, and I'm getting a second-interview call...someday. He's a bit behind after the holidays. AREN'T WE ALL.

Tomorrow I am home most of the day because the post office, UPS and Peapod all have a hit out on me have parcel deliveries scheduled. It'll be like a second christmas, especially since there's no food in my fridge.

There will be an LC update and a Photo Update tomorrow if I can contain my culinary urges and not spend all afternoon making homemade crab rangoon. (Which will actually be Cream Cheese Rangoon, as I am leaving the crab out. I'm not sure if this is the more healthy alternative or if I will die from a heart attack by the age of thirty.)
If VC Andrews wrote Harry Potter, Sirius' parents would have been siblings and he would marry Andromeda, who was in reality his half-sister by his father's true love, Minerva McGonagall.

I'm just saying. I'm grateful for the little things.
