Of course it is, because I have to wear a suit today. *facepalm*
Aside from that, though, the snow is fun. I went down to the laundromat and while my laundry was washing I went for a walk in the snow, and then while it was drying I nipped over to the diner nearby and had a soda somewhere I could sit at a real table and do some writing. I'm afraid I didn't get much writing done, however, because of what was on the television.
It was tuned to "sports", as televisions in little dive diners often are. Except this was not just any sport. This was the paragon of sports, the ultimate sporting event if what you really want is to fall asleep to sports on TV:
Canadian.
Senior League.
Championship.
Bowling.
Let me tell you, the thrills did not cease the entire time I was there. They had gathered the best elderly bowlers in all of Canada for my entertainment! I could not look away. It was difficult to leave that place of warmth and joy and return to the laundromat, that's for sure.
I may have to buy the DVD.
