What happens when you microwave soap?

http://microwavecam.com/microwavecam/Videos/Soap/soap%20100b.htm

That is possibly the coolest thing involving a microwave that I have ever seen.

Worth checking out on that site is three peeps in a basket, which is exactly how I picture the appearance of Cthulu on earth.
Well, the imports store I went to this morning did not have bento boxes. But you know what they did have?

SACKS OF TINY ROASTED CRABS.

What is even more amusing is that I actually took a photo with my camera phone, emailed it to myself, downloaded the email to the computer I'm using here at the public library, and back-uploaded it to my account, without ever plugging anything in.

Technology is an amazing thing.
Well, it had to happen sooner or later. I mean, the law of averages alone decrees it.

I hit a patch of ice and actually fell down for the first time tonight. Leaving work I took an unusual route and while I was ogling the sights, my foot skidded out and I landed square on my left knee before falling on my ass. I believe I said "Oh! Hoh!" which in retrospect is pretty funny.

I'm okay, though I was terrified for a moment that my kneecap was broken. It's not, though I'm bruised and bleeding in a few places. I've applied Neosporin and I bought some of the Best Bandages Ever at the drugstore (they're plastic, and like clingfilm with glue attached). I'm sure I'll feel the aftereffects of the actual fall tomorrow, but that's why science gave us naproxen.

Ow.

It wouldn't be my life if I didn't fall and skin my knees at least every six months, because clearly I am still nine years old.
