1. Ultracool senior-when-I-was-a-junior-at-undergrad showed up out of NOWHERE at work today (he's doing some backstage stuff for the show) and was all, hey, I know you! Let's have lunch! Tell me what you're up to! HAVE A HUG! I swear to you I never actively tried to impress this guy but only because I knew I never would. Look! WE ARE GROWNUPS NOW.
2. Five Asians walk into the lobby. One of them says "We have ten tickets, so, okay, we're gonna take five and leave the other five for the rest of the group when they arrive. You don't need names, they'll be Asian. Just, if you see any Asians, give them a ticket." I lol'd.
3. Okay, this one has some steps. a) Three people got fired from Front of House, that's NOT a highlight. b) all three were fired for getting on Big Big Boss's wrong side (also NOT a highlight). c) I arrived 30 minutes early and was promptly hijacked into greeting actors by Big Big Boss, who later said to me, "You're so capable and reliable in a pinch!" Neither of which are true, but I fake it well. :D Go me, not getting fired.
3a. My paycheck for last week? $80. Not a good thing, but I DID win the five-dollar pool we had going on who would have the lowest paycheck!
