May. 11th, 2007 05:45 pmI was thinking of going to Looptopia tonight, which is an all night arts fair and block party in the downtown "loop" bounded on all sides by the elevated train tracks. I'm pretty sure Big Boss gave me tomorrow morning off in order that I could go if I wanted and still get enough sleep to be functional at work. It'd be a nice break and I'm pretty sure I'll be sorry if I miss it.
All that having been said, after working ten hours I'm always a bit tired. In addition, I'm concerned about my health -- last night when I got home I started to hear a low buzz in my left ear, and very shortly thereafter my balance went all to hell. I still have an uneven sensation in my head, and I can't stand up or turn suddenly without stumbling. There's no pain or fever, but I'm fairly concerned about the whole not-walking-straight thing, and the buzzing is still there.
It's entirely possible that this is a side effect of going off the trial medication -- I had dizziness and palpitations the first two weeks I was on it -- but if it doesn't go away by Monday I'm going to have to blow my day off at a free clinic, getting checked out. My luck, it'll be an ear infection and antibiotics will get involved. Pleh.
