Why are my dreams so stressful? I get hit in the head with dead birds in real life, I don't need more angst in my subsconscious.

I got home early from work today and decided to take a nap, and in my nap I dreamed that I came home from work and some fuck had stolen my bed. While it made the room look quite light and airy, it was my BED, and since nothing else had been stolen I immediately went to speak to my super, who doesn't speak much English. He made it understood that this wholesale bed pillaging was common practice by the landlord, and not to worry because I'd have a new bed before nightfall.

I didn't want a new bed, I said. I wanted my bed back.

Yes! A new bed! he replied.

Finally I got across the message that my bed was not my landlord's property but in fact my black metal futon that I had paid for with my own money and I wanted it back before I called the police. This seemed to get a result, but as he went down the stairs to go find my bed I heard him mutter "A black metal futon, geez, that's unique."

So not only did this bastard steal my bed but then he dissed it. He better be heaps glad I woke up and was in my own bed.

I need a nap to recover from my nap.
