(no subject)

Well, I've managed to do everything but clean the kitchen and my desk and sweep the porch, but I've had a reprieve -- I'm only working till 6 tomorrow, so I can get some done then. Bonus, I washed my sheets and changed my down blanket over from the thicker winter one to the thinner summer one. It doesn't matter overmuch simply because down breathes extremely well, but it'll be a bit lighter perhaps on those nights when I can't seem to cool off.

I've also changed my Journal title, as I am wont to do; for the first time in quite a while I'm breaking with song-lyric tradition. The new title, Joy is pure but fleeting, man comes from "The Day The Music Died (And I Got Farked)",* wherein Nick the BNF pronounces judgement on a Japanese identity-thief who used his ill-gotten gains to buy Wiis, iPhones, and candy bars.

Also, I have discovered that the next best thing to grilling a hot dog is to cook it in a toaster oven for eight minutes at 375F. Hot dogs are inherently gross, but oh so tasty too.

Crap, it's 1am. *scurries to bed*
