Veni, vidi, versi. I came, I saw, I cleaned.

Well, not my bedroom, which was going to be my first point of attack, but the kitchen counter is cleared off (no mean feat) and the dishes and clothes are both being washed. There's another load waiting for both, too. And depending on how I feel this afternoon, there will be either grilled hamburgers or beef stroganoff. Or, if this headache doesn't go away, toast.

Now that I have healthcare again my body has decided to fall apart on me, which, thank you body for waiting at least. I'd like to see a neurologist about the headaches, and a dentist, and the leprosy I got two years ago is back (note: not really leprosy, but it's more fun to call it that). Of course, with health insurance comes the necessity of working all day, which is kind of an impediment. I'm working on it.

And by "working on it" I mean "about to take a nap". :D
Ahahaha, oh, my neuroses.

I realised today while folding the laundry that I am slightly crazy when it comes to my shirts. See, okay, the hangers should, for maximum effectiveness, hang with the hook over the bar on the outside, so that I can just lift and take a shirt down. That might be a little picky, but it makes sense and I'm sure most people do that.

What gets me is that I also have to put the shirts on the hangers in a specific way so that when the hook goes over the bar they're properly aligned. All of the shirts have to face towards the center of the closet rather than the outside walls. There's no logic in this since I can tell what colour they are from the back as easily as the front. The actual reason, in my head, is that shirts that face the center of the closet are alive, and the shirts that face the wall are dead. And a dead shirt is an unhappy shirt!

And this has been going on at least since I got my own place in Oregon, eight years ago.

Welcome to my brain. Poke it if you like. The odds of doing any more damage are pretty minimal.

As for dinner, the rain made the decision for me. Mmmm, stroganoff.
It's Saturday night, and only slightly depressing that it's time for Sam's Three Things About Doctor Who, 3.03: Planet Of The Ood )

3a. Hey, no tie for the Doctor. In fact, under the jacket, he's wearing an oxford over a t-shirt which...hmm...WHO ELSE DO WE KNOW who rocks the one-button-open t-shirt-showing style? I WONDER.
