Fandomwise:
There's a new gag reel and new "cut scenes" out for Season Two of Torchwood. And if you are a fan of the Jack-Ianto action, you need to see this one. Despite John Barrowman's terrible delivery of his second line (probably they didn't do very many takes? I don't know, how many times can you film someone groping their immortal time-hopping boyfriend?).
(Also, I think GDL is a highly-advanced robot and they put him away in storage when they're not using him. The boy doesn't show up on Declassified hardly ever, he doesn't do commentaries, and he hasn't a single blooper on the gag reel to his name for either season.)

adina_atl has written a fic about Ianto and Flat Holm which is quite a new take on what I've seen to date, and I'm poking her to write a sequel. Administrative Details: "When the boss disappears, someone has to keep the wheels turning." Worksafe, gen.
lirulien has translated several of my Torchwood fics into Chinese, which is awesome even though I can't read Chinese. You can find them here:

Someone just left a pen at my desk, but not just any pen. An anti-microbial pen. A pen that kills germs simply by existing. I'm not sure whether I'm thrilled we're living in an era when my writing implement can protect me from the plague, or annoyed that my pen can battle Ebola but there hasn't been a lunar landing in my lifetime.
