No, I didn't hallucinate that, R really did text me at 2:30 in the morning to ask if I wanted to go on a Costco run tonight. Bless his heart.

I was going to post this tonight but since I won't have a huge window of time between leaving the offsite and leaving for Costco, you get it early. Also because I love you all.

Here I am at the offsite...no computer so of course today there's a woot-off. Ah well. I get gourmet pizza lunch, and you can't buy that on woot.

I am home!

The offsite was incredibly tedious, but the food was mediocre. :D On the plus side I did get to leave at three (not two -- they put me in a computer training session, hence the comment replies earlier). I forgot how nice it is to ride the El when the entire population of Chicago isn't riding in my train car as well.

I'm still feeling just slightly under the weather -- sore, and with a mild headache -- so I'm taking it easy. R cancelled tonight's Costco expedition in favour of tomorrow; I'm guessing he's hung over. I didn't drink last night, but it still makes two of us.

I bought pan-pop popcorn the other day, so I think I am going to settle in on the futon and watch Hot Fuzz and eat popcorn. Or maybe settle in on the bed and watch Heroes and not move much. Either way, a pleasant evening...
