Jul. 22nd, 2009 12:26 pmThere is new news on the internet!
Yesterday I was overstimulated. Today I've adjusted to the new stimulus levels and am simply "energetic". *twitches more*
1. In news of great yay, Adina finished a Torchwood fic and I beta'd it, and it's happy and funny and has no spoilers even past the end of S1. It's called Long Game and she summarises it thus: "Ianto had known Torchwood's retirement policy since the first day he started in London: twenty years and a gold watch, or...less...and a little white pill. And he wanted out. A first season AU." GO READ IT, IT'S AWESOME.
2. You can totally ignore the rest of this article, because the important bit is: TIM HORTONS INVADED NEW YORK.
DEAR TIMMY, COME HERE NEXT. I WILL BUY YOUR SANDWICHES AND BUTTER TARTS ALL THE LIVELONG DAY.
3. WOOT OFF.
3a. BossBoss was trying to describe his management style for some assessment or other and asked that oh so loaded question, "What do you think I am as a manager?" to which I replied, without missing a beat, "Less omniscient, more participant" and he LOLED AND WROTE IT DOWN.
