Aug. 23rd, 2009 11:18 amYesterday was an odd combination of getting a ton of stuff done and lying in bed moaning in pain. ARGH. Normally the headaches don't bother me too much, but normally I don't have as many of them and I do have access to prescription-level pain medication. Yesterday I took almost 700mg of naproxen and 900 of acetominaphen and it didn't make a dent. But one can't go to a doctor and say "Look, ten years of trying hasn't uncovered the root cause, could you just give me some vicodin because that fixes it" because they'll think you're a drug addict.
Clearly the solution is to find one of those shady doctors who caters to drug addicts anyway. :D But I'm an upstanding citizen! I wouldn't even know how.
But I did get stuff done; I baked bread, made rice, cleaned a bit, and got chapter three of Valet of Anize finished. I've had some requests to only post complete chapters, which is why it's taken me so long to update. Chapter four is well underway and if I can get past Carry's "settling in" period the plot will really start to swing. Anyway, the rest of chapter three is here.
I was going to go out today but given I didn't get everything done yesterday I think I may as well stay in. I can COOK SOME MORE, yay! Because PeaPod came and brought me food.
