I just got a text from R:

I gave myself a haircut. Can you come over and help me?

And then I rolled around laughing for a while.

It's less hilarious than it sounds, really -- he has hair so short he cuts it with a beard trimmer, and he just needs help with the back of his neck where he can't reach. Still, someone reading my textmessages would think I had a seven-year-old on speed dial.
