Aug. 6th, 2010 08:04 amIt would be madness to map out a longer, more complex route to the train station which allows me to approach from the south and thus avoid the people handing stuff out at the north door, right? Madness. That's what it would be.
Except when I walked into the train station this morning there was a guy trying to give me a commuter paper, two people trying to hand me flyers for local restaurants, and a panhandler, all within the space of about six feet. That is so many people who want to interact with me at seven in the morning.
Plus the guy with the commuter papers always says "You're welcome" when I say "No, thank you" like he's doing me some kind of favour in not holding me down and forcing a newspaper on me. Mister, I'm being polite, I'm not actually grateful to you.
ARGH HUMANITY.
