Nov. 9th, 2010 08:34 amWhen I woke up this morning I felt fine. I got up, showered, dried off, and just as I lowered my arms from drying my hair (it's short and fluffy!) I felt a stabbing pain right between my shoulderblades that has yet to abate. Yes, kids, I think I threw my back out while drying off my hair.
The pain is considerable and I probably wouldn't have come in to work today except that I already had an appointment with the chiropractor for this evening, and they're not far from work, so it's easier just to come in to work and not move much. Sitting still and not feeling strong emotions is about what I can handle today, so if you're expecting an email response from me, do not expect it until tomorrow.
I'm not an expert on wingfic but I understand pressure and pain between the shoulderblades is often how these things start. For this amount of pain I'm in, I feel as if I deserve some wings. I hope they're fancy.
