Happy Thanksgiving, residents and citizens of the US!

Or, for short, HAPPY YANKSGIVING.

I read an article yesterday about how to have a peaceful thanksgiving, and it included resolutions like "I will not complain after dinner that I have eaten too much" which frankly is one of the fun parts of the holiday, to my mind. So I wish you a chaotic, noisy, entertaining Yanksgiving and I am still thankful.

We are cooking a 26-pound turkey. It's bigger than most pets I've owned.
TURKUTHULU WILL NOT BE DENIED

OH ALSO

IT'S SNOWING. BRING ON THE SEASONAL FUCKING SNOW. SHIT JUST GOT REAL.
FOOD COMA. Nobody move, it's time to nap.

We had turkey and potatoes (boiled and sweet) and stuffing and beer bread and pad thai (oh yes) and stuffed mushrooms and cranberry sauce and...some vegetables I did not eat...and wine and cake, more cake than was wise.

I read an article yesterday about how to have a peaceful Thanksgiving, and among other asinine suggestions it said not to eat too much, and if you do eat too much, not to whine about it. I personally think those are some of the best parts of Thanksgiving; moderation might be peaceful but it's not very entertaining.

Oh god food.

If I die, tell them the stuffed mushrooms got me, and I died happy.
