Uh, so.

You remember how I put Charitable Getting up for sale on November first? Part of that was that I had signed up for the Lulu monthly "Author Sales" contest. It goes like this: you sign up for the contest, and then of those authors who signed up, the author who sells the most books during the month wins a prize.

Guess who sold all the books during the month of November? OH THAT WOULD BE ME.

Or rather, really, I chalk it up to you guys, because you're the ones who bought the book. So thank you! Please enjoy the hell out of your books because y'all just won me $1500.

THAT IS WELL OVER FIVE THOUSAND SUPERBALLS.

And it is, I won't lie, rather desperately needed right now. So, thank you, loyal readers and friends, you are awesome. EVERYBODY TAKE A SUPERBALL.
RADIATOR WHY ARE YOU SO LOUD. It's like having my very own white noise machine except I can't turn it off! GOOD LORD.

It's been a strange day, no denying. I spent the morning slogging through the new building access website, documenting how to do everything. Most of it's intuitive, which is actually the worst kind of thing to document because it seems so obvious. But it has to be documented in case the next person who needs to use the website is a brain-damaged monkey or something.

It was kind of fun though. In the documentation I used my own employee file for screencapping purposes so the page on "accessing and editing employee records" is all Instructions Instructions MY FACE Instructions MY FACE Instructions Instructions. I thought about using BossBoss's record but his ID photo makes him look vaguely stoned. Plus, I think he'd make me do it over, and I never ever want to open the documentation file again.

And then in the afternoon, I got a new pair of pyjamas and $1500 (the two are unrelated).

My life, you guys.

They're cool pyjamas, though. Flannel, mmm.
