Intern: I heard there were treats.
Me: Yeah, in the kitchen. Hey, bring me a bagel if they have one?
Intern: Sure!

*five minutes pass*

Me: Oh! O...kay, what is this? Did they not have any bagels?
Intern: It's a square bagel!
Me: What.
Intern: They call them Squagels.

SQUAGELS. And you thought the bagelful was bizarre!
Sorry to keep you all in suspense, but long interview was long! And then I had all the work I didn't do during the interview to catch up on.

It was exceptionally good, though. I was cooler than I normally am (I blame wearing lucky socks). They'll be scheduling me for a second interview after the first round is finished, so hurrah!

And now MOAR WORK. And tonight, White Collar!
I have been remiss with my origami! I didn't even post yesterday's, although yesterday's is pretty cool: it's an origami bookmark that requires no cutting or taping.

Obviously the one I folded is kind of huge (don't mind the article it's hanging out on) but they're simple enough that the design can be memorised, and then you will never be without a bookmark again.

Today I actually folded a design from my origami calendar, miracle of miracles; another bunny, this one less supercilious than the last one. I didn't have a dollar, again, but I did have a twenty, so I folded it out of that.

Whenever the calendar gives dollar-folding directions it always seems to skip a few steps or be slightly unclear on them; in this case, folding the bunny's legs is WAY MORE COMPLICATED than that little diagram thinks it is.

Also I gave him a tail, poor tailless thing.
