So close. I got so close to finishing Confessions Of A Justified Sinner. But I confess: I SKIMMED.

I really am sorry I didn't like it. I know a lot of people said they liked it, and I wanted to like it, but it's so boring. That's not a critical analysis, just my opinion, but seriously. Oh my god.

Review of Confessions of a Justified Sinner by James Hogg (minor spoilers) )
I ran into someone tonight on the way home.

LITERALLY.

It was kind of awesome though. I only meant to run a few yards, because I was trying to get past this crowd of IDIOT TOURISTS (they had maps) so I could get to the El before they decided to stand in front of it. She was running somewhere obviously important in the opposite direction, and we just went bam! into each other. And neither of us fell down! It was like physics in action. Possibly because both of us saw it coming and put our hands up.

Okay that part was unfortunate.

I do feel like I should post to Missed Connections on Craigslist. "Ran into you on State today. From the brief glimpse I had, you're cute! Sincerely sorry I grabbed your boob. Promise if you want to run into me again I'll be a gentleman."
Let's fold some motherfucking paper!

I didn't do yesterday's origami yesterday, but the WINGED HAT was pretty cool, so I did it today. I popped it from flat to 3-D right as one of my coworker walked by, and apparently startled them deeply. I'm not responsible for other peoples' hair triggers around origami!

And then, because the paper was piling up a little, I decided today to do some modular origami folding. Remember how I've said in the past that modular origami is great because you just do the same simple fold ten or twelve times, then fit it together and people are SUPER IMPRESSED?

Forget I said that. Meet the Dominata Star. My nemesis.

I still don't know how I actually managed to fold any of those pieces. IT WAS MAGIC. Assembling them? DOUBLE MAGIC. The whole thing was so difficult. And yet it looks like crap!

I'm going back to cubes.
