Mar. 5th, 2012 09:45 amGood morning everyone, and happy Casimir Pulaski day! There's nothing we in Chicago like better than an adorably incompetent Polish mercenary with a truly fantastic moustache.
It's also Radio Free Monday, so let's get to it!

myemmie links to a Sherlock fan who has "decided to try and pull together the efforts of the Sherlock fandom to make a book supporting Undershaw House." There are a lot of entry options - art, short stories, poetry, etc. as well as guidelines on the main page.
Doola links to a petition to stop both Spike TV and National Geographic from producing separate TV shows featuring people looting artifacts from battlefields and other historical sites. "This represents loss of information of our collective past, which we will never get back. It's akin to TV shows about how to hunt, kill, and skin snow leopards and then sell their skins for fun and profit." You can sign at change.org to stop Spike here and stop National Geographic here.
snufflesdbear links to a friend who has cats up for adoption in Long Island, NY.

If you're interested in more information you can PM, or email silver_spotted at hotmail.com
Cathy is looking for information on how to set up so you can read Dreamwidth posts on Livejournal friends lists. I don't have this technical know-how but if you have a link to a walkthrough, please drop it in comments. Thanks!

The campaign is being led by Patrick Burke, son of the Toronto Maple Leafs GM and brother of the late Brendan Burke, student manager of the men's ice hockey team at Miami University in Ohio.
sophie_spence linked to a website for people considering suicide. Triggery, possibly; I've personally found this kind of thing less than helpful, but others have found it useful, so I link.
Just For Fun:
ailelie links to The Art Of The Toilet Paper Roll. It's so much cooler than it sounds.
