Mar. 27th, 2012 08:54 amSo...Awkward Coworker told me I should watch The Voice. So did my parents. And it's not that I cave easily to peer pressure, but it's nice to have something to talk to people about.
Me: I watched The Voice last night. I woke up from a nap just for you and watched The Voice.
Awkward Coworker: OMG WHAT DID YOU THINK?
Me: It was interesting! And okay, I need to know if this is just me but you can't laugh at me.
Awkward Coworker: Okay...
Me: So, occasionally it's two men in very tight pants, dancing around, singing love songs...together...all...competitive and stuff...is it just a little homoerotic?
Awkward Coworker: Are you calling it gay?
Me: But not in the pejorative. Like actually..."these guys could be having sex on stage right now and I might not see the difference" gay.
Awkward Coworker: *long pause* Yes. No, yes, I see your point.
Me: Oh good.
And then we talked about ( spolier! )
Then the entire office agreed that piano battles would be awesome.
