Mandatory volunteering: pwned!

Last night I ended up going out for dinner before going to the party I was working, which turned out to be...I don't want to call it a mistake, because there is no such thing as a mistake where Burger Joint is involved, but it was perhaps a tactical error. Only because apparently the party I was working last night was at a restaurant known to be The Best Of All The Party Restaurants due to the snack foods they serve during.

So I had a hearty dinner...and then ate approximately eighteen dozen bacon-wrapped dates because it's a date stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in bacon, and I am only human in the face of that. (Also there were crab cakes.)

But a thing that neither Burger Joint food nor bacon wrapped dates are is "light", so by the time I got home I was fiercely digesting, and I fell into bed and passed out. I just woke up and I smell like bacon, white wine, and cigarette smoke.

Worth it.

pippinsalanna: To be fair, I wouldn't try running a high school with anything less than superpowers and razor sharp claws.
