I am so behind on White Collar and Suits. I am watching them soon! But I wanted to see The Hollow Crown first. It's BBC's retelling of Richard II, Henry IV parts 1 and 2, and Henry V. I was super-excited about it and that was a mistake because I like the histories and even I found them boring. Judicious cutting of the scripts and fewer long shots of people looking dramatic would have been wise.
Mind you, Tom Hiddleston is fantastic as Prince Hal/Henry V; he does "I might be wicked" so well. (And "I am definitely wicked" too, viz Loki, but the ambiguity of his Prince Hal is especially good.) Also in Henry IV part 2 there is a very brief shot of soldiers celebrating, and two of them do the jump-in-the-air-and-bump-chests sports fan move, which is hilarious. It's at about an hour and fifteen minutes in, if you're interested.
In cleaning my files I came across a couple of Sam Explains Comics quotes and this one I don't think will ever find a home, so I share it with you here because if you're writing Avengers fanfic it's fun to know.
( The location of Stark Tower, more or less. )
