I am having Laundry Agitation.

One of the few really unnecessary luxuries in my life is my laundry service, which I have valued deeply over the last two years. They pick up a bag of laundry on Saturday morning, wash it, fold it, and drop it off on Monday morning clean and nice-smelling. If you could see the laundry room in our apartment building, you'd understand why I pay more for someone else to wash my clothing.

Anyway, a few weeks ago they stopped picking up unless I called them to remind them, and now they have stopped picking up at all. Or answering their phones. Or emails. And really at this point I'd just like to get my damn keys back, because the tag on the keys has my building address on it and that's not terribly safe.

I've called two other laundry places and ALSO gotten no replies. Were they all called back to the mothership or something?

So I am home today doing my own damn laundry. OH THE HORROR.

Have a fanfic.
