Jan. 5th, 2014 08:19 pmSNOW DAY TOMORROW.
And yet I still have not been PROPERLY snowed in. It's not really a snow day; I suppose it's more of a Freeze Day.
I don't know why I'm so obsessed with being snowed in; I know I saw it happen to people in sitcoms as a kid and I thought it was cool, so maybe that's part of it. I just think that being snowed in is much more drastic than being frozen in, which I will be tomorrow for the second time in my tenure in Chicago, which is now coming up on eight years. I want snow, goddammit. And it's true I don't want to go outside as I do not wish to lose an extremity.
Still, tomorrow the weather is supposed to be something like "the surface of Pluto, only with wind" so I get to stay in and work from home. Which really means "have my work email open while I read comic books".
FREEZE DAY.
