Jan. 16th, 2014 11:08 amOh my god this week.
I swear I'm not dead, I'm just very boring right now; it's all dentists and rage and depression. The highlight of my week so far has been learning how to build a google form this morning (as it turns out google forms are stupidly easy).
It IS kind of interesting why I'm building a google form; I've been working for about a year, off and on, assembling a book of all the poetry I've written since joining LiveJournal. It's ten years of sonnets and various other things, and I've no idea if it's any good or not, but I'm slowly building towards putting it up for sale through Lulu.com. I haven't set a release date yet, but I'll announce the release as soon as I have.
There will be signed copies, as there usually are, which is what the Google Form is eventually for. In fact, for international buyers, the signed copies might actually be cheaper, given Lulu's ridiculous postage rates. The book only weighs two ounces, so I'm hoping I can send it first-class-letter internationally, which should defeat the need for customs forms. Still workshopping that issue.
Yes. I did use my kitchen scale to weigh my poetry book. I'm pretty sure there's a poem in that, in fact.
Anyway, logistics, blah, more boring, but at least I'm closer than I was a year ago. Any progress in any aspect of my life right now is welcome, to be frank.
