May. 30th, 2014 12:52 pmThere needs to be a word for "Encountering an unexpected mirror" -- you know, like when you're in a room with one of those whole-wall mirrors and you realise half of the room is a reflection, that kind of thing -- but also a word for "The expectation of a mirror where none exists."
I totally just encountered the latter at O'Hare. I was plugging in my laptop and I assumed the wall with the plug led up into a mirror, but then when I straightened up I realized no, there were PEOPLE on the other side of the mirror and NO ME.
Genuinely shocking. I wonder if that's how vampires feel.
