sherylyn linked to a fundraiser for Sam, who needs to have a double masectomy for cancer-related health reasons but whose identity as a trans person makes him ineligible for coverage. You can read more and help Sam out here.
stress_kitten linked to a fundraiser for a friend who is engaged in a custody battle for her daughter, and needs help with legal fees to get her daughter away from a harmful environment. You can read more and help her out here; warnings for discussion of child sexual abuse at the site.
boywonder needs to move their family to Virginia to attend law school -- they've been accepted and enrolled on a full tuition scholarship, but they need funds for moving from Arizona to Virginia and all its attendant expenses. You can read more and help them get moved here.
maschalismos was recently diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia, and is struggling to cover medical bills for her diagnosis and for ongoing attempts at treatment. You can read more and help out with her medical bills here.
editrx has been struggling a lot lately, and is now facing huge water bills, plus a lien on her house for a property tax bill that has gone past due. She needs to raise $6K to keep her head above water. ivylaughed wanted to let people know that Ohio is no longer asking about criminal convictions on their job applications, but all jobs include a background check. If you have a criminal record in any state, it's good to know what your rights are in regards to hiring. You can read more about the change in policy here.
